In most seasons there is a stand out goalkeeper that stands head and shoulders above his peers; this is not one of those seasons.
The standard of goalkeeping in the Barclays Premiership is still one of the best in the world and has it's great between the sticks every week.
Joe Hart is still England number one and should be but he's not had the same season as his last one. His club Captain Vincent Kompany has been in and out of the side through injury so that may well have something to do with it.
De Gea in the Manchester United goal has firmly established himself as the Old Trafford number one. What fans need to remember is he is still very much a young keeper; he saves with his legs sometimes when he doesn't really need to. Getting better week by week; having a great defence in front of him helps.
Petr Cech has kept up his usual high standard; pulling off some great saves.
All the top clubs have great number ones but we won't write about all of them, just the one we think has had the best of a good bunch.
This keeper has made himself available for Internationals once more and has been picked. Together with his new Manager he's had a cracking season!

His team won't be going boing boing this season: West Bromwich Albion's Ben Foster has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years and it’s great to see such a talented keeper at work.
He's a great commander of his domain; the penalty box belongs to him and he is vocal to his defenders which all good keepers do.
The former United goalkeeper just needed somewhere to settle and under Steve Clarke and his coaches they seem to bring the best out of him.
It's great for the England side that Joe Hart has a real challenger for the number one jersey; and what a great number two!
He won't be leaving the Hawthorns anytime soon but when he does the Baggies fans will feel like they've had a kick in the balls.
