Is it time Moyes delivered Silverware?

David Moyes has been in charge of Everton football club for eleven years now. A great feat in itself considering the average Manager lasts about two years.

What's even more amazing is the fact they nearly always finish inside the top ten of the Premier League. The reason I say amazing is due to the fact that the club is not rolled by a successful businessman from the Middle East that wants to cover the club in diamonds!

They have one of the best scouting teams in the entire world and that shows on the pitch.

I thought when Tim Cahill left it would leave a big hole in the squad; he played every position for the Toffees including goalkeeper! The Australian could always be depended on for a goal and rarely let his team or the fans down. Of course they've just stuck to David Moyes two golden rules;'work hard' and 'team work'.

David Moyes has won the Premier League Manager of the month nine times. He has also won the League Managers Assocation Manager of the year on no less than three occasions.

But he has yet to win Silverware with the team!

He came close in two thousand and nine when he got all the way to Wembley only to be beaten by two goals to one by Chelsea.

Recently he passed the five hundred game mark in charge of the Toffees.

The players he has give him everything! Tim Howard has had the best days of his career at Goodison and in Leighton Baines a thunderous left foot! Fellaini and Coleman can pull teams apart as well as the rest of the squad.

Everton Football Club deserve to win some Silverware but we all know that football has a habit of giving you a kick in the balls.
