Is Loic Remy's value going up with every goal?‏

When Harry Redknapp signed French striker Loic Remy he seemed to have beaten Newcastle to his signature. The former Spurs boss paid around eight million pounds and he scored on his debut for Queens Park Rangers away at Upton Park. Despite his goals the West London club were relegated.
In World Cup year the Frenchman wanted top flight football this season; Newcastle offered him a chance and he was off to the North East of England. It was a surprise it was only a loan, especially as the club are sponsored by a loan company, Wonga!
Injury hampered his first month for the Toon army but once he got match fit the goals started flowing.
He has great speed and is willing to run at defenders even if he hasn't got the ball.
He was back in London on Sunday and scored at White Hart Lane, his seventh goal of the season. Suarez and Sturridge of Liverpool have scored eight each as has Sergio Aguero of Manchester City.

'A prolific forward can make the difference between being title contenders, finishing in the top four or remaining among Europe’s also-rans in the Europa League. How Spurs could do with the pace of Rémy, who latched on to Yoan Gouffran’s smart through ball in the 13th minute before rounding Brad Friedel and stroking the ball in the net.

“Loïc really is in great form,” the Newcastle manager Alan Pardew said. “He gave us the platform to win. He has a silkiness to the way he moves, a nice gait the way he runs. He really is a classy looking performer which is great if you back it up with goals, which he is. It makes him stand out.” '

The QPR boss has publicly stated that any players that are out on loan will be sold; so how much is the free scoring frontman worth?

It would have to start at the eight million that was originally paid for him; that's only fair.
Is his value going up by every goal he scores? Well it has to doesn't it?
But how much per goal? A hundred thousand pounds every time he hits the back of the net?
Or half a million pounds every three goals?
If Remy scores twenty goals this season then surely that must add ten million pounds to his value!
It's either a very clever transfer plan by wheeler dealer Harry or he wants his striker back if his current side are promoted!
But what if the Frenchman gets injured; then what will his value be?
For the time being the Geordie giants just want him to keep scoring goals.
He could turn out to be the signing of the season; he is showing why he's picked for the French squad but just how much will he cost?
At today's over inflated prices it would be a surprise if he went for less than twenty million pounds; but just think of his value if France make it to the World Cup finals and he's leading scorer? There is just the matter of a play off game to see if that happens.
We'll just have to wait and see if it's a clever game played by Redknapp or has Alan Pardew been very clever?
This should get interesting when his loan ends and to see where he ends up on a permanently.
