Moore is celebrated but Spurs get out on Bale!

Bobby Moore was given a fitting celebration twenty years after his death. The respect shown to the only England football Captain to lift the World Cup was there for the whole planet to see.
Man of the moment Gareth Bale hadn't read the script and after a bad clearance from the West Ham defence he slotted the ball home. It certainly would have been cleared by Bobby that's for sure.
If he was looking down on his old club he'd have been proud of the response. Andy Carroll was taken down by former Hammer Scott Parker. The on-loan Liverpool striker picked himself up and easily put the ball in the back of the net.
As the first half came to an end the East London boys looked the better side; maybe the spirit of the former Captain was playing its part.
Tottenham had a corner right at the end of the first half but the Hammers keeper was in great form; the home side went up the other end and again another good save. That was exactly how the first half went.
The second half carried on as the first had ended; end to end stuff as both sides looked to gain the lead.
On the fifty sixth minute the North London outfit hit the post!
Just a minute later Joe Cole went up the other end and slotted the ball in the back of the net.
Jaaskelainen in the West Ham goal was in inspired; saving his team on two or three occasions.
In the seventy fourth minute Matt Taylor should have wrapped the game up but it was the turn of the Spurs keeper to shine.
Down the other end and this time it was sub Sigurosson who levelled this London derby.

The game could have gone either way but that man Bale ripped up the script with a special goal that would win any game!
Everyone would have come away from the game knowing they had got their money’s worth.
It was Spurs eighth away victory of the season; the first time they've done that in the Premiership.
On any other night the West Ham keeper would have easily got the vote for man of the match but even Bobby Moore would have given the award to Gareth Bale.
A great game of football but the Welshman gave the Hammers a kick in the balls.
