Small minded idiots ruining the game of football

No matter how anyone tries to hide it, racism is alive and well in this day and age; in society as well as football.
A great line from a Michael Jackson song is, 'It makes no difference if you’re black or white,' sadly some ignore it.
A medical fact is that if you cut a human being, no matter what colour they are, they will bleed red blood. We are all the same underneath; we are the entire human race!
What some fans don't realize is, racism is not only about the colour of your skin. Some fans, not all fans, don't know where banter ends and racism starts and that is part of the problem.
Don't get me wrong, some so called fans go to the game and don't care if they're racist or not; the problem is, that's what the media pick up on.
Then there's the 'I didn't know I was being racist' fan. A prime example is a Southern fan calling a Northern fan a Northern twat and vice versa. Now to many that's banter but it’s a form of racism!
Now people may say that's a little harsh but it starts somewhere; an alcoholic doesn't start on a bottle of whisky on the first day!
These idiots are out to get attention and sadly for the game and society as a whole it works.  Again, the sad thing is every single club has them, from the biggest to the smallest.

Only this week Chris Samba was abused at Craven Cottage; it’s unclear if it was Fulham or Queens Park Rangers fans, whoever it was got the attention they sought. A game that had five goals in it and what got the headline? Racism.
Just hours earlier at Stamford Bridge, Rio Ferdinand was widely booed but why? Is it because he is Anton’s Brother? He did himself no favours calling Ashley Cole a 'choc ice' earlier in the season, shows it gets to top footballers as well. I won't bother giving credence to John Terry, he was found guilty by the FA so we'll leave it there.
As much as I admire the 'kick it out' campaigns, do they really work?
If they did, then why is there one every season?

How about a homophobic ‘kick it out’ campaign?

What about a sexism ‘kick it out’?

It’s all discrimination at the end of the day it’s as simple as that. As mentioned before, it’s society's problem as much as it's football’s problem. Courts need to come down hard on these people because so far the punishments are laughable and not in a joking way!
Just as Courts need to come down hard so do the FA and the clubs.
What is the point in fining a millionaire? It’s like Lady GaGa losing a dress!
If a player is found to be racist then give them an automatic twenty game ban! For a second racist act a seasons ban and if they are stupid enough to do it a third time make it a life ban from all football!
Now if a club or any of its board members are seen or heard to be racist then a ban has to be put on them and from all grounds. Along the same sort of lines as a player.
Despite what the press would like you to believe, a football club is not responsible for what their fans sing. It’s easy to blame the clubs but how can they control what certain fans sing or chant?
The simple answer is they can't and yet they are liable for a fine. This simply does not work! With all the CCTV around the grounds these days it’s not that hard to see who is doing it. Arrest them and ban them! If the Court doesn't the club does!
The only way to get rid of this vile disease is come down hard on it; that way everyone will understand it.

Thankfully there isn't one club that is worse than another but for the sake of society and football let's give racism a kick in the balls.
