Were Spurs wrong to make him a loan Ranger?

When Gareth Bale went over on his ankle it couldn't have happened at a worse time for Tottenham!
With a Champions League spot up for grabs they can't afford to lose their star player and he's not the only one. Aaron Lennon and Jermaine Defoe are also on the sidelines making an already hard job even harder!
This is when a squad comes into effect and yet a player that could take Bale's place is on loan at Shepherds Bush. Where Spurs mucked up was there's no recall clause!

Andros Townsend is getting great reviews and rightly so. He has joined his old boss Harry Redknapp and the QPR fans love him!
He looks at home on either wing and likes the midfield as well as forward. He scored a cracker against Sunderland that lit the game up!
It must be annoying to Spurs fans at just how well he's doing; his displays showing how good he can be.
Or is this a case of QPR not having good players or is the loan Ranger just in great form?
The Hoops have scored ten goals in the last five games, Andros amongst the scorers.
The way he is playing he'd get into most Premiership sides so it’s his form that counts.
Townsend is a hungry young footballer and while he's not Gareth Bale he has something to offer.
After the Welshman was injured, Spurs fans took to twitter to ask Andros if he was coming back to his Parent club. After receiving the tweets the talented loanee confirmed there was 'no recall' in effect.
After all the work they've put in, if the North London club don't get a place in the top European competition it will feel like a kick in the balls.
